Thanks to numerous donations, we were able to bring important medical supplies to Nepal. Together with the chief physician and the nursing staff, we unloaded the valuable cargo – urgently needed aid for the patients there!​

​An important part of our mission was training the local team. We conducted a demonstration of sterile interventions in the intensive care unit to expand local expertise and further improve patient safety.

​Our work in the neonatology unit, where we cared for newborns and discussed the best possible care methods with the team, was particularly touching.

In addition to working at the clinic, we had the opportunity to experience Nepal and its culture. During our trekking tour, we met many children—with simple things like blowing soap bubbles, we were able to put a smile on their faces.

In addition to the neonatal and intensive care units, we also visited the regular ward. There we met many brave little patients, including a girl who, despite her situation, goes through her day with impressive strength.

Another highlight were the rounds, during which we discussed the current patients in the NICU with the treatment team at Siddhi Memorial Hospital. Diagnosis and treatment options were actively discussed and implemented.
